Now this is KEEN!!! …Water Temp at 1 degree and Air Temp -4!!!! WTF!
I think i’d have a heart attack before getting to the water!
How many days, weeks or months of NO WIND would it have to be to go sailing in these conditions??

Well for Miriam it was just 6 weeks!

I suppose this is just another normal day up in Norway!! haha.. and i bet it helps to motivation to make your gybes!

‘My annual winter session 🙂 “My” mountain lake still open unusually late in the season + no windsurfing for 6 weeks made it an easy choice to pack windsurfing gear instead of skis this weekend. Both air and water temperatures was refreshing at -4 and + 1 celsius, but with good neoprene stuff I wasnt bothered much for the duration of the 1h30 session. The biggest challenge was to cross the 3 m belt of glazed rocks to get to the water, without breaking my legs! Sailing up here at this time of year, has used to be pretty scary, but this time I had a blast! Felt totally in control with my PC² custom boards Element and my 6.8 Loftsails Switchblade. I guess my 38 ZULU FINS ,like me, would like it better in SA this time of year, but what can you do! 😀
